Krishnu Always Be Smile Chandabali deeply values the generosity of our donors, whose contributions enable us to empower communities across Orissa through education, welfare, health, and sustainable development programs. This Donation Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing donations made to our organization, ensuring transparency and clarity for all donors.

1. General Policy

  • All donations made to Krishnu Always Be Smile Chandabali are voluntary and intended to support our programs, including education, medical relief, environmental conservation, and community empowerment.
  • Donations are generally considered final and non-refundable, except in specific circumstances outlined below.
  • We ensure that all funds are utilized responsibly to further our mission of creating sustainable social impact across 30 districts in Orissa.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Error in Donation Amount: If a donation is made in error (e.g., incorrect amount due to a typographical error or technical issue), you must notify us within 7 days of the transaction.
  • Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation is made without the donor’s authorization (e.g., due to fraud or a compromised payment method), you must contact us immediately upon discovery.
  • Duplicate Transactions: If a donor accidentally makes multiple payments for the same donation, a refund for the duplicate amount may be requested within 7 days.

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please contact us with the following details:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • Date and amount of the donation.
  • Transaction ID or receipt (if available).
  • A brief explanation of the reason for the refund request.

Refund requests will be reviewed within 10 business days. Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method, subject to banking or payment gateway processing times.

4. Non-Refundable Donations

Donations are not eligible for a refund if:

  • The donor changes their mind after making a contribution.
  • The donation has already been allocated to a program or initiative.
  • The request is made more than 7 days after the transaction, except in cases of unauthorized transactions.

5. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

  • Cancellation requests must include your name, contact details, and donation details (e.g., frequency and amount).
  • Cancellations will take effect before the next scheduled payment, and no further charges will be processed. Previously processed payments are non-refundable, as per the refund policy above.

  • Donors are responsible for understanding the tax implications of their contributions, including any deductions or benefits under applicable laws in India.
  • Refunds may affect tax deductions previously claimed. Please consult a tax professional for guidance.
